COVID-19 Update & Office Re-Opening

Dear Patients,

The Cambie Chiropractic Centre is pleased to have reopened with new safety protocols in place. In prioritizing the well-being of our patients and staff, we are adhering to social distancing rules and provincial public health guidelines..

To ensure your safety:

  • We have always adhered to high cleanliness standards and infection control procedures, including regular hand-washing and hygiene practices. However we will also continue to ensure that treatment rooms are completely wiped down and sanitized before-and-after each patient visit.
  • Dr. Quon & Dr. Lopes will wear a mask or a face shield during patient care.
  • Patients will be encouraged to pay by touchless credit or debit card tap.
  • Whenever possible, electronic receipts will be issued in lieu of paper receipts.
  • Appointment times will be staggered to allow for proper cleaning between visits.
  • No more than one patient (or extra household member) at a time will be permitted in our waiting area. Additional patients will be queued outside until they can be received directly into a treatment room.
  • Plexiglass has been installed at our reception desk to ensure separation between patients and office staff.
  • Hand sanitizer at reception is expected to be used by all patients both before and after appointments.
  • Shared articles such as children’s toys and reading materials will no longer be provided at this time.

Before arriving at our clinic, please review the following questions to confirm your fitness to enter our facility:

  • Do you have a cough, fever, or shortness of breath?
  • Have you travelled outside of B.C. or Canada within the last 14 days?
  • Have you been in close contact with anyone who has travelled internationally?
  • Have you visited a long-term care home with a COVID-19 outbreak?
  • Have you been in contact with a probable or confirmed COVID-19 patient?
  • Have you attended a large group gathering?

If you feel unwell or answer “yes” to any of the above, you will not be permitted entry and will have to reschedule.

Additionally, we kindly request that:

  • You be on time for your appointment so that we may adhere to physical distancing rules
  • You wear a mask when inside the treatment room
  • If possible, you do not bring non-essential belongings, companions or pets into the clinic
  • No food or drinks are brought inside the premises

We hope the above precautions help to reassure you that your safety and health are our utmost priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time, and we look forward to serving you.
